The climate is changing, where dolpins and whales,
are paying the price, for business and sales.
The climate is changing, we're tossing the dice,
drowning our cities, the oceans shall rise.
The climate is changing, it can't be undone,
remember the bies, for soon they'll be gone.
The climate is changing, we're caught on the hook,
a few generations, was all that it took.
The climate is changing, a new world is born,
scorched in the sun, and where flesh shall be torn.
The climate is changing, waking the past,
the plagues in our fears, shall be part of the cast.
The climate is changing, a warning was told,
but no one is listening, to what shall unfold.
The climate is changing, buy a ticket for the moon,
better get ready, the end shall come soon.

Tiny particles
Drifting by, high over the treetops,
tiny particles of ice and water,
born far out at sea, travelling the world,
knowning no borders,
first rising, then falling,
flowing in rivers into the ocean,
to be reborn again on another day.
Drifting by, under the treetops,
tiny particles of light in the darkness,
travelling the world, knowning no borders,
first rising, then falling,
to be reborn again on another day.

Planet Earth: Highly recommended for travels in the near future! Visit this beautiful blue planet now, before it is too late. With a fantastic biodiverstiy, hospitable atmosphere and cool temperatures, this planet offers some of the best sites for recreational activities in the galaxy. Do try to avoid the tribal communities living in densly populated and inhospitable areas, as this lifeform is by large highly egosentric and has not yet adapted an understanding of its symbiotic existance with the biosphere of the planet. To bring: sturdy shooes, skiing equipment, light clothing and a swim suit.

Rising
Like a feather I hold them,
my childhood experiences,
my hidden fears,
my confusing emotions,
and troubled thoughts.
Everywhere around me,
a gentle wind keeps blowing,
releasing the feather,
I see it all, disappearing from my horison.
There, in the empty space,
a warm sun is rising,
I open my eyes, my heart and soul,
every atom of my being,
immersed and rising.

The innermost
Your hold on me is slowly weakening,
I find pleasure in overcoming you,
there is more space when you're gone.
Like a stranger you have been,
but I know it was I who fathered you,
I have let you grow for too long.
Opening my eyes I find you so lonely,
but there is always a choice,
which you have been making for me.
You, who guided me in darkness,
ever deeper our path was leading,
but no longer, I'm letting you go.
I find pleasure in overcoming you,
there is more space when you're gone.
Like a stranger you have been,
but I know it was I who fathered you,
I have let you grow for too long.
Opening my eyes I find you so lonely,

but no longer, I'm letting you go.
A choice for tomorrow
When fear has closed your eyes to the world,
every day you escape into darkness and sorrow.
Spiraling down you are faced with a choice,
in your heart you must find a love for tomorrow.
every day you escape into darkness and sorrow.
Spiraling down you are faced with a choice,
in your heart you must find a love for tomorrow.
Morning has broken
Fighting the feeling of that which is gone.
but fearing the morning when all has been done.
Resting my thoughts on the greatest seat,
awareness returning so fast to my feet.
Remembering people and places I've seen,
actors and stages in the world that I dream.
Opening up to the life that I've found,
baring my feet, just touching the ground.
Trying to see through the curtain behind,
but morning is closing that part of my mind.
but fearing the morning when all has been done.

Doors
Doors. Closed doors as far as I can see. The narrow corridor is streching on. How did I find this place? From where did I enter?
The doors are unnumbered, yet each is distinctive. I start to walk. Looking at each door, I try to recognize them.
How long have I been walking? Wait, this door I recognize, I must have past it already. How could that be? I've only walked in one direction.
Approaching, so close I am almost one with it. Then, softly I listen. There are sounds on the other side, someone is there!
There is no lock, no key, to learn I must listen. I listen again. How strange! I've heard this already. Whoever is there keeps repeating himself. Allways the same, over and over again. Like a memory of the past.
But who is it? Is it me? Something is keeping me back. A presence unseen has got a hold on me. Who can it be? Is it fear? Of what?
There is no point in walking away. There is nowhere to run. I feel encircled. Caught between the nothingness of this corridor and the guarded doors. There is nothing to fight, when I struggle I hear nothing.

Religious belief
By God is here ment the "force" which set everything in motion.
By Creation is here ment all perceivable and not (yet) perceivable dimensions of being.
Any religion or philosophy recognizing God separate from Creation will be the root indirect cause of conflicts. This is because these religions do not recognize that any act through Creation also is an act through God. If it is believed that the act is separate from God, it is believed that the act per se is only an act of the free will of Man, for which he may be held accountable only to those upon which the act fell. Any act through Creation is an act through God, or else you end up with a disconnectedness paradox (which can be rationalized, though not in a few sentences). Any act through Creation affects or catalyzes processes that may not be tangible in the time frame of the act, but whose web will unravel chain reactions, that unless the interconnectedness is understood will seem irrational or erradic. Since an act through Creation is an act through God, the question "where is God?" fails to have any meaning, as does the idea that God will somehow be mercyful and "rescue" His believers. It is up to Man's free will whether he chooses to recognize God through Creation and consequently act in accordance to this recognition. Any other recognition seeds the potential for conflict because the response will be either reflexive or at best reflective within the boundaries set by the belief, which in it's disconnectedness will be irrational. To recognize God through Creation is to embrace its interconnectedness, through which all is One. No man is an island to himself as God suffuses it all (or else you end up in a paradox through which nothing can be perceived, as there would be no motion).

Materialism
What is materialism but the idea that self-realization is best achieved through that which is apart from the self. The incarnation of possessiveness and yet but a child of egoism. With a music seductive to its fathering heart it draws attention to the surface of being, yet speaks not of the price paid in loss of dimentionality in perception. How can you follow a three-dimentional path when being only in two? You end up following the reflection of reality onto the surface which you have chosen for your perception and being. And yet you wonder why you feel disconnected and at loss? In more practical terms, materialism will, unless resolved, exploit our planet to exhaustion, and the struggle for her resources are increasing as we breathe. Clean water, food and the fuel to power our materialistic motion hold the potential within to cause afflictions greater than any seen in memory.
The "physical" world
When you look at yourself you probably think that you're pretty solid, I mean you're not exactly see-through are you?
Well, let me put your conception into a bit of perspective here. Using the average human chemical composition, assuming your weight is 70 kg, then the measurable volume of the atoms themselves, of which you are composed would only be about 3.5 L. Quite interesting is it not? In between those atoms is basically just empty space an force fields.
Now, you probably think those atoms are rather solid, right?
I'm sorry, but they are actually mostly empty space. If you calculated the measurable volume of protons, neutrons and electrons, of which the atoms are composed, the volume you would be left with would only make up about 0.00000000000400 % of those 3.5 L. That is about the same as comparing the volume of a regular handball to the volume of a cube which would be close to 3 km heigh, wide and long. That is a lot of empty space! And, I haven't even started on what the protons and neutrons are made of!
Anyway, from a "physical" point of view, let's say for example that your volume is about 50 L, then you're actually something like 99.9999999999997 % empty space (when considering protons, neutrons and electrons to be "solid"), in which the only thing keeping you together are the strong and weak inter- and intra-atomic forces!
So much for the physical and solid world, huh?

Powder
The ghost of morning, a gentle sensation,
waking from slumber, to the greatest temptation.
My head is resting, from where I can see,
outside my window, such passion set free.
Snowflakes are falling, my skin is burning,
the hours of waiting, hours of yearning.
Soon I can ride, on a blessing of white,
my prayers were heard, in the darkness of night.
waking from slumber, to the greatest temptation.

Snowflakes are falling, my skin is burning,

Snota
Yesterday was May 1st, also known as Labour Day, which in Norway is a public holiday. For me, and 16 other active people from the NTNUI ski and mountaineering group, this was en excellent opportunity to take the day off. Therefore, instead of spending the day inside studying for exams, we rented some cars and drove up to Folldal. This is a small valley which goes up into the mountainous area Trollheimen. Our goal was Snota (1668 m), and to our great fortune the weather was nothing less than excellent.

Going up was a bit strenuous, especially with equipment for telemark skiing, and a well deserved lunch break was gratefully enjoyed after a 2-3 hours slow climbing. Being outside in such beautiful surroundings, getting plenty of fresh air while doing fun exercise really gives meaning to the expression of working up an appetite. Food always taste so much better once you've worked hard to enjoy it, and a scenic view at the lunch table spices everything up a little.

Half an hour later we had all gathered some strength for the final climb up the slopes of Snota. Being equipped with climbing skins (on the ski soles), the journey up went very smoothly, even though the nice weather demanded a couple of rests for drinking water and catching some breaths. About 5 hours after heading out from the parking lot in Folldalen, we reached the summit.

Even though some of us had forgotten to bring oranges, the view from the peak repaid all the efforts climbing up. And then we still had the slopes to enjoy when going down, which really was a big part of the fun!
